Author William Kent Krueger headlines fundraiser for Moorhead Public Library – InForum

MOORHEAD — Friends of the Moorhead Library will host a fundraiser featuring author William Kent Krueger as well as a food-related silent auction.

The event, held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Rustica, will include appetizers, desserts and a drink ticket.

Krueger will talk about his work, which includes

“The River We Remember,” the 2024 One Book, One Community selection.

His latest title, “Apostle’s Cove,” the 21st book in the Cork O’Connor mystery series, will be released Sept. 2. He will sign copies of the book at the end of the evening.

The silent auction will include a dinner for six by Moorhead chef Andrea Baumgardner, as well as gift cards and related gifts from 701 Eateries, Blackbird Woodfire Pizza, Drekker/Brewhalla, Moonrise Cafe, Twenty Below Coffee and more.

This fundraising event will benefit the new Moorhead Public Library, which will open next spring.
